摘要

马来西亚华文教育是一个既复杂又丰富多彩的研究领域，其牵涉的层面不只是教育领域，也涵盖了文化传承、政治博弈、社会运动和经济效应等方面的考量，更掺杂了多年累积的民族情感。从时空的新角度，本研究尝试从时空的新角度下结合学校特点、学校之间的距离、人口流动等内外因素重新审视吉隆坡华小的发展现况，并透过数据分析预测华小的未来发展态势与规划。在空间维度上，本文所关注的是华裔人口分布情况以及学校服务区的范围，并从这两方面揭示吉隆坡缺少华小和华校分布不均的严重情况。在时间维度上，本文从人口增长趋势的角度讨论华小的未来发展与规划，并得出吉隆坡目前需要增建11 所新华小来应付未来15 年或更长的需求。

Abstract

Chinese education in Malaysia is a complex and richly diverse field of study that encompasses not only the realm of education but also considerations of cultural heritage, political dynamics, social movements, and economic impacts. These are deeply intertwined with long-standing ethnic sentiments. This study attempts to re-examine the current state of development of Chinese primary schools in Kuala Lumpur from a new spatiotemporal perspective, integrating internal and external factors such as school characteristics, spatial distance between schools, and population mobility. Through data analysis, it aims to predict the future trends and propose plans for the development of Chinese primary schools. From a spatial perspective, the study focuses on the distribution of the Chinese population and the coverage areas of schools, revealing the critical issues of the shortage of Chinese primary schools and the uneven distribution of Chinese schools in Kuala Lumpur. From a temporal perspective, the study discusses the future development and planning needs of Chinese primary schools based on population growth trends. It concludes that Kuala Lumpur currently needs to establish 11 new Chinese primary schools to meet the demand for the next 15 years or beyond.
